COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Internal Communications Coordinator - Marketing Department

Coming from a Manufacturing background, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the marketing communication throughout the Region. You will plan and communicate to the wider teams and ensure that the structures and organisation of the regions activities are coordinated in a timely and efficient manner.

 

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create and ensure use of the Marketing Calendar
    • Create and maintain an overview of all Marketing Activities – Planned activities/Exhibitions/Advert/Editorial
    • Plan all marketing activities and identify where the “push” need to happen – Market Segment/Each Technology
    • Structure for all Product Launches – Per market Segment Technology (Build Awareness, Plan, Activities)
    • Create a “follow-up & follow through” structure for all leads obtained from marketing activities (Exhibitions/Sponsored Events) and ensure all are captured and opportunities maximised to true outcomes
    • Support, control and improve the current Internal Communication Structure
    • Manage and lead marketing Presentation Materials – (Includes PowerPoint etc.)
    • Create and maintain the Company Profiling
    • Organise exhibitions and Road Shows and participate in them/support on the ground
    • Set up and chair Bi-monthly Marketing Meetings
    • Work with Distribution and support regular sales channels
    • Participate and contribute to the annual Budget process
    • Responsible for “Region News” communication – encourage contributions and take responsibility for the editorial and delivery
    • Manage “Templates” and keep them current and available
    • PA – Function - MEC (Executive Team) Meeting attendance/minutes
    • Responsible for catalogue management
    • Any other tasks that are deemed appropriate to the role
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Effective time manager
    • Proven leadership skills with the ability to liaise across the business
    • Able to work with ease in a fast pace manufacturing environment
    • Be confident setting own priorities, meeting objectives and providing best service to all internal and external contacts
    • Good time keeping
    • Proven and able to show drive and determination to get programmes of work completed
    • Must be self motivated and enthusiastic with a positive "I can get this done attitude"!
    • Minimum 3 years' within a Marketing/Communications industry with a strong emphasis on the Communications
    • Experienced with MRP/ERP software systems, preferably SAP (Material Management module)
    • Advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (diary Management)
