Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 Location - Thame Contract 14 Months

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Commercial Accountant provides value added support across a number of business areas. The Commercial Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller to provide financial analysis of sales activity and operational performance.

    MAIN TASKS: 

    • Preparation and development of the monthly portfolio analysis
    • Production, accountability and analysis of monthly dealer rebate calculations
    • Support and provide business partnering to other heads of department
    • Reporting and analysis of sales, including forecasting
    • Maintain monthly stock reconciliations and improve processes
    • Assist in the development of KPI reporting and analysis
    • Preparation of the monthly FLA (Finance and Leasing Association) statistical reporting
    • Modelling financial and non-financial information to provide management with accurate and timely management reports and analysis
    • Improve procedures where appropriate and ensure adequate controls are in place
    • Identify areas for corrective action and make recommendations thereafter
    • Provide sales analytical information by developing a deep understanding of the business results
    • Production of ad hoc analysis and data requests from the Managing Director and Financial Controller
    • Assisting the Financial Accounting Manager and Controller with management and statutory reporting, year-end audits and internal audits and other ad hoc tasks as and when required
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Confident self starter with strong communication skills
    • Educated to degree standard
    • ERP systems knowledge
    • Outstanding analytical skills
    • Excellent MS Excel skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting non-negotiable deadlines
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively communicate with several different functions within PFE
    • Good team player and confident dealing with senior man
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified
