Salary - £18,000 - £22,000 Location - Long Crendon Permanent

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Our clients are a small local specialist UK distributor based in Long Crendon.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This role is a hands on position with 70% warehouse and 30% office based.

    Main duties: 

    • Picking and packing orders ready for dispatching. Some heavy items so candidates must be physically fit
    • Unload deliveries
    • Stock checks
    • Picking orders using a Bendi forklift on narrow aisles
    • May involve occasion driving
    • Answering incoming phone calls
    • Dealing with orders from initial enquiries to processing the orders.
    • Liaising with customer on delivery times or any issues
    • Responding to emails
    • Creating and maintaining accurate customer information on the database
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Have previous warehouse and office experience
    • Confident at liaising with customers both verbally and written
    • Able to build excellent working relationships with clients
    • 'Can do' positive attitude willing to get stuck in to any task required
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous forklift experience is required but professional training will be provided
    • Full clean driving licence
    • Previous use of SAGE would be advantageous
