COMPANY OVERVIEW:

We are working alongside our clients who are a dynamic, innovative and leading digital technology company to look for a Sales Support Team Leader to join their busy team.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Sales Support Team Leader will work closely with the Sales Team to motivate and support to deliver against the business, achieving sales targets. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To daily manage, coach and support a small team of 4 Sales Support Administrators.
    • Plan revenue and net profit in accordance to the company Business Plan.
    • To provide professional support to customer and the Sales team, liaising with various internal teams to understand and ensure the customer requirements are successfully met.
    • Ensure data accurately on the database continually improve processes with the Sales Support Team to provide maximum efficiency for all customers internal and external.
    • To escalate any queries or authority sign off to the Sales Manager where appropriate.
    • Assisting the Sales Manager with any recruitment, training and development of the team.
    • Predominately admin based but must willing to take a hands on approach as and when required to helping the team achieve the day to day tasks such as order processing and enquiry handling.
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Proven track record in leading a team, including performance monitoring (KPI’s reporting and appraisals)
    • Professional attitude but with a friendly, approachable nature.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent telephone manner.
    • Accurate and articulate with proven problem solving skills.
    • Articulate and organised arranging visit between sales managers and clients.
    • Previous experience delivering and achieving targets.
    • Able to communication across all levels providing reports and feedback to management and the sales team.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Educated to A level standard or equivalent qualifications.
    • Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Previous use of a Management Information System such as SAP would be advantageous.  EPOS experience would also be of interest.
    • Previous admin and management experience in B2B Sales within an IT sector.
