Salary - £35,000 Location - Aylesbury Permanent

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our client based in Aylesbury.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for all aspects of purchasing and supply chain management
    • Develop and introduce improved procurement and supply chain strategies and processes
    • Develop and implement cost saving measures
    • Control of inventory within company financial guidelines
    • Working with the MD to develop and implement business improvement strategies and processes
    • Reporting to the Managing Director
    • Schedule / forward orders
    • Purchasing/supply control activities
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Sage Line 50 / Sage 200 experienced
    • Procurement specialist
    • CIPS qualified or part-qualified
    • Having a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a product manufacturing and/or distribution environment
    • Experience/understanding of electrical and electronic product supply chains is an advantage
    • Team player
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • CIPS qualified or part-qualified
  • BENEFITS:

    • Hours Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 8:30am – 3pm
