Sales Order Processor

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

My client is one of the largest supplier of UPVC windows to the trade in England. Their aim is to supply the window trade with high quality products, delivered on time every time, and at competitive prices. This is an exciting opportunity for a competent sales order processor to join a friendly team within a busy manufacturing environment. 

• MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process orders accurately and efficiently

  • Liaise and work closely with the field sales team, factory and customers to process quotation requirements

  • To read and understand drawings with the ability to discuss potential problems and the confidence to suggest alternative solutions

  • Keep all parties updated with order time frames

  • To build and maintain relationships with internal and external business customers

  • Confident telephone manner and able to deal with difficult situations and queries

• SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience of Business Micros Logikal software desired

  • Aluminium experience desired

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task with a positive can-do attitude

  • Accurate data input and order processing skills

  • Manufacturing Industry knowledge would be advantageous but not essential

• QUALIFICATIONS:

   

  •  Minimum two years experience order processing experience 

• BENEFITS:

  • Office hours 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday with optional paid overtime available.

  • Salary £24.400 plus overtime and bonus

  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
