Insect Breeding Assistant

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

A farming Family are looking for someone to assist the Farm Manager with all operational duties with regards to insect breeding.

• MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with insects and larvae located in a farm environment
  • Weighing, recording and feeding of insect larvae
  • Activities related to managing optimal growing and breeding conditions for the insect larvae
  • Operating various types of equipment and machines
  • Processing feed substrates for the larvae
  • Cleaning and maintenance of various pieces of equipment
  • Regular cleaning of all containers and crates associated with the insect larvae production
  • Upkeep and cleaning of the facility
  • General inspection and trouble shooting in the absence of the manager
  • Any other duties as directed by the farm manager

• SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Driving Licence and Car are essential due to the location
  • Enthusiastic and attitude are key skills
  • Willingness to learn and take instruction
